...Adam Kokesh, in the 3rd Congressional District, has built himself an independent funding source with the help of Texas U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. But first, Kokesh has Republican opposition.

nice that they left our opponents name out of it... :)

nice that they left our opponents name out of it... :)Yeah, looks like that was done on purpose :)

Totally bothers me that there's a primary opponent. "Tried and true" Republican methods such as having only one candidate in the race seems to only happen when an anointed steps into the ring. Seeing it here, too.

Is the primary challenger any threat at all to Adam's campaign?

Good question. Visibly not much of a threat. But someone on the state exec board once said, "Adam is not our kind of republican", (and the good 'ol boys did not play fair last cycle.) So who knows what is going on behind the scenes... We will have to be ready for anything. The county pre-primary conventions will tell heaps...

The thing is that our opponent has no chance in the general, and that must be eating at the stalwarts...

That's right, and Adam can win!

When are the county pre-primary conventions?

When are the county pre-primary conventions?

During the week of 2/13 - 2/20

Hence the need for a big day on the first. There is fee (which is not called a "poll tax") which varies by county. Some counties are $10 per, some $20. The State Convention Fee is $40 x $130 delegates. This does not include lunch or anything... We are looking at building a "sponsor a delegate" effort...

We could really use a huge day on the 2/1 for many reasons... least of which is freeing us from fundraising concerns... We can use online help for this, either sign up on the website, or just go straight to www.callforkokesh.com

Thanks
