Please inform me about the CATO institute. Is it simply a tool for NAFTA and WTO? Also I am needing links (documentation) to your statements. Thank you

Thanks Bobby. I was hoping you would be one of those who would reply. You are one of the best at keeping the conversational rational.

Is Lou Rockwell head of the CATO Institute. Isn't Lou Rockwell a big student and supporter of Ron Paul?

Thanks Roma. I often post Cato stuff and agree with them some times but as far as Ron Paul 2008, they sucked and betrayed us

Lew Rockwell runs the Mises Institute.

As I recall, CATO liked Fred Thompson. It was very disappointing.

Rockwell runs Mises Institute.

Cato Institute is basically the largest libertarian organization in the world. It's easy to point out instances where they haven't been libertarian enough. And they didn't support Ron Paul. But, overall, they are friends.

It depends on how loosely one defines the term "libertarian." To me, CATO is about as "libertarian" as the Republican party is "conservative."

OK. Let me see if I understand:

CATO institute is for NAFTA (Ron Paul is against), Open borders (not Ron Paul), and more work visas. Is it not a contradiction for CATO to promote these things which are government regulation, and also say they are against government regulation, and for free enterprise?

NAFTA, and work order visas are nothing more than corporate welfare, or as Ron Paul says "corporatism". They are not designed to be free enterprise.
