Damn, I know some hardcore Republicans in Sulphur Springs... I hope they went. If I had known she was going to be there, I would have told them to go. Hmm... maybe I'll watch and see if they're in the videos somewhere. But it looks like they don't ever show the audience... ?

Is there no video for the Q&A with the people? I kind of want to know how the audience reacted to what she said... good, bad, indifferent? They didn't sound terribly enthusiastic, but then again it didn't seem quite like the forum for a lot of whoopin' and hollerin'.

I'm not sure if there is more video or not. It didn't look like it. I don't know who posted those to YouTube.

I think for awhile now we have wondered who would pick up the torch of liberty after Ron Paul. RPF members, after watching this set of videos, I'm confident that you have found your answer.

It's so funny how people have only JUST gotten excited about Medina in the last two weeks or so. I've been trying for MONTHS to get people to pay any attention to her at all. (E.g. right here: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=188037 )

Just think how much better her chances would be for prominence not only within Texas but nationwide if we had actually been promoting and donating to her while we were still begging people like Schiff and Rand to even contemplate runs! Not that we shouldn't have done those things, but here we've had a Ron Paul Republican who announced her candidacy for governor nearly a year ago, and only now when we're down to the wire is when everyone actually cares.

I'm not complaining, because I love the current enthusiasm, but I have to say... I think we missed one of our best opportunities for raising an awesome candidate to real prominence in our movement and in the party.

Now we have to work twice as hard to accomplish half as much!

Yes, but I don't think most people understood how very good she was until the debate. Better late than never. Let's focus forward and win this thing!

True. Watching the debate was the clincher for me. She handled herself excellent and she's damn smart ta boot. I think she's my favorite liberty candidate right now... Well, 2nd to Ron Paul of course... :D

Wow, that Q&A session went VERY well for her I'd say. If this is what your run-of-the-mill TX GOP group looks like, I'd say Debra has this nomination in the bag... provided people actually go and vote.
