BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RON PAUL REVOLUTION!!!!!!!
Hi Folks links below to bring you up to date;)
I/we approached the town to change town code and decrim marijuana. After debating and talking. The town council will bring legalizing marijuana to the ballot for the voters to decide in 2010:) we have already had 72% of voters approve this. we now have 9 months to make it 80% or more;)

this is a huge victory for us and the people and of course .we are the largest voting block in our county;) so we plan to hold all elected officials accountable for their actions and positions!!!!!

The Revolution Continues. We will also be holding any politician in the state of Colorado that opposes legalized marijuana no matter the party accountable by voting them out!!!.....

Marijuana Legalization will be a uniting voter issue in our state. I hope the GOP/COGOP is listening. if they support legalization. they will increase their big tent. if they oppose it. they will alienate themselves.....
The Vote was unanimous all 7 town council members support bringing it to the voter.
We have a few that oppose, but overall they all agreed to put it on the ballot for voters to decide. This is a first i believe;)

runs around work with my happy face and happy dances!!!!!!!!!!!

RON PAUL 2012 and Legalize Marijuana 2010 and 2012!!!!!!
THIS IS HUGE NEWS, i expect media will be contacting me soon in Colorado and elsewhere. TIME TO STAND UP FOLKS AND HOLD ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS ACCOUNTABLE EVEN THE GOP!!!!!!!!

in 2012 we will change that to. when we have the state ballot. once we vote in leadville it changes our town code and our county is going to change without an election;) it changes local law. one step at a time.. we change county next, then state and eventually by 2012 or 2014 federally!!!!! common sense will change it... more importantly we will vote out any politicians that oppose the will of the voters!!!

the cogop will have to support legalized marijuana in Colorado or they will become a marginalized 3rd party...

Under 18?!?!?!

actually under 21. yes anyone who is not an adult is still fined if they have marijuana.... i did remind the council that 18yr olds do vote;)

but 21 is what they suggested. the code says basically it is legal for adults 21 and over..

ps only folks busted for pot last yr was a few juveniles. other then that kinda already legal if you know what i mean;)

It will be legal to smoke pot while in jail.

what are you trying to imply. yes actually if you have a medical card, you have the right to your med just like aspirin.
if your trying to say they will lock you up under state law ? trying to get your sarcasm where are you going with that statement??

marijuana is already legal, since it is only a 100 dollar fine for having an ounce. a speeding ticket is more.

we are just dotting the i's...
i predict marijuana will be legal for tax revenue and common sense(ending 70 plus yrs of lies and mis-info from the government to the people) in 2012 in Colorado...... up to the politicians to get on the boat or off the boat;) the gop better pay attention;)

I really hope this pans out for you. I'd hate for California, the first state to practically ban smoking, be the first state to legalize recreational marijuana.
