The Wall Street Journal has a 3rd quarter fund raising application on their 2008 Campaign page now. Sadly, they have forgotten to add Ron Paul. Please email them a polite request to add Ron Paul to the list (he's had more cash-on-hand than McCain for 2 quarters in a row now after all). Thanks!

Q1: 8 candidates
Q2: 8 candidates
Q3: 7 candidates

I really try not to buy in to talk about a mainstream media conspiracy against Ron Paul, but they keep making me look like a fool. The quarter when Ron Paul moves in to 8th place is when they stop doing 8 candidates? Really, what the hell?

If I'm not mistaken the WSJ may be owned by CFR people, besided all this positive media attention makes the suspicious person in me think that they are setting him up to get noticed so they can crash down on him with everyone paying attention.

Yeah, didn't Rupurt Murdoch finaly get his grubby hands on it? It's the same as "Faux News" now.

The Ministry of Truth is now reporting.

They responded saying my comment would be forwarded on. The message had the following tail:

Date Created: 10/05/2007 08:27 AM
Last Updated: 10/05/2007 08:49 AM
Status: Solved
Escalate to:

Which makes me think it actually might have been forwarded.

More polite emails wouldn't hurt though.

No conspiracy this time, guys.

They simply choose the 8 candidates with the highest raised total.

Thompson is number 8 overall with 12 mio.

They list top 8 candidates and Bill Richardson happened to get 5.2 which is a tad more than 5.1 that Ron Paul collected.

It is unfortunate, but fair table

Fair enough. They only had 7 names listed a few minutes ago. One of these must have been MIA.

Nah, he was already there. Might have been Fred. I don't recall.
