The Athens Republican Party will be hosting a debate tonight at 7:00PM (EST) in the auditorium at UGA's Grady College of Journalism, to air on local T.V. news outlets across the state:

The line-up so far:
• Georgia State Senator Jeff Chapman of Brunswick
• United States Representative Nathan Deal of Gainesville
• Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel of Atlanta
• Georgia State Senator Eric Johnson of Savannah
• Businessman Ray McBerry of Cumming [my comment: This guy is the GA Republican Party's equivalent to TX's Debra Medina, in striking similarites (other than looks :D)]
• Georgia State Representative Austin Scott of Tifton
[I expect that since there are more candidates participating in this debate than the three that Texas had, it will be even more limited as to how much the candidates can really get their message out, but that's the way of things, I suppose]
Update: www.cbsatlanta.com will be running a live stream of the debates, for all you out-of-towners.
