Obama´s a loser. Just about everything he´s tried selling by being a part of lately has failed hard with the public.

Olympics in the US, Creigh Deeds, Universal Healthcare, and now Martha Coakley. It doesn´t weaken Obama so much as it makes it apparent how unpopular he is with voters who show up for non-presidential elections.

If Coakley wins, Obama will take credit for her win.
If Coakley loses, Obama will blame someone or something else.

In a Coakley loss scenario, the Republicans will say "this shows how unpopular Obama and Obamacare are. Unless Obama and the Democrats move quickly to the center, many Democrats will lose their jobs in November 2010", while the Democrats will say "Coakley was a bad candidate, who ran a bad campaign, and Obama and Obamacare had nothing to do with her loss."
