It's quite creepy how much Charles Jaco resembles Anderson Cooper.

We've been through this. It wasn't fake - it was a set built at a hotel specifically for journalists to broadcast from.

Damn, I must've missed the memo :o

So the set was actually in Saudi Arabia?

Yes, but it seems that ALex Jones has decided it is part of the conspiracy, so all the links I dug up last time are buried under a pile of new blogger activity. I can't find my post either. It might be in one of the unsearchable forums, as these conversations tend to head into conspiracy land PDQ.

So I'll have to go on memory...that clip wasn't all broadcast - part of it was film of him rehearsing before they went live, and somebody somewhere edited it with the film of the actual broadcast. (IIRC his shirt changes color or something?) The rehearsal was sent out over unscrambled satellite, so anybody with a basic set up could have received it in those days.

They were on the roof of the hotel, and the set was built for them by a corporation that specializes in media settings, specifically to broadcast from. Somewhere out on the 'net there are pictures of the crew building the set, and pictures of the people broadcasting from there.

Edit - I'm on the hunt; Here's the hotel: http://www.paacrewlayover.com/Dhahran%20International%20Hotel-Dahahran.jpg

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I still think it's creepy that Jaco's demeanor, mannerisms and voice is so much like Anderson Cooper's.

After digging a little more, something just smacked me square between the eyes.

Jaco has been disparaging the Tea Partiers and the Constitution Party. This rumor is probably payback, so I won't spend any more time debunking it. I won't repeat it, but if it takes off - oh well.

Here's a cool video full of satellite outtakes: Brian Springer - Spin (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7344181953466797353#)
