Date: Monday, January 18, 2010 Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm Location: Belo Corporation Description Most of you know that Debra Medina is currently being denied a spot in the January 29th Governor's race debate being hosted by Belo corp. There are a series of stipulations Belo has put forth as criteria for participation in their debate which we feel are skewed to only allow incumbents to partipate. We're calling for Belo to do the right thing for WE TEXANS and include her in their statewide debate. Texas deserves an open and honest election and open and honest debates! The Dallas protest will be held at Belo's corporate headquarters: 400 S. Record Street Dallas, TX 75201 Austin Protest: KVUE-TV 3201 Steck Avenue Austin, TX 78757 Houston Protest: KHOU-TV 1945 Allen Parkway Houston, TX 77019 San Antonio Protest: KENS-TV 5400 Fredericksburg Rd San Antonio, TX 78229 It's very important that we can mobilize quickly and show Belo that Debra has significant support and must be included in the debate! Please invite your friends to this event and these 4 simultaneous protest! Include any links you'd like to in the comments!
