Newt Gingrich said, while speaking in Cary North Carolina, that he sees himself as a top GOP Prospect for the 2012 election.

North Carolina was won by the Democrats in 2008 for the first time in three decades and that was where former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich declared that he sees himself as one of the top GOP candidates for the 2012 presidential election. He said he sees himself amongst seven or eight very viable candidates to become President.

Gingrich gave a nod to former Governors Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, and Tim Pawlenty as other candidates. He also felt that current Governors Bobby Jindal, Mitch Daniels, Haley Barbour, and Rick Perry would also make strong candidates. The point that Gingrich wanted to make was that Republicans will have choices in the next election.

Gingrich was key in the Republican's sweep of Congress in 1994. He also highly emphasised the idea of a "Contract for America." In conclusion he said that at the start of next year he and his wife will sit down and decide if he will make a run at the Presidency.

The Real Newt Gingrich

Newt Gingrich is often viewed as a conservative politician. This video is a speech John McManus, president of the John Birch society (http://www.jbs.org/), gave which exposes the REAL Newt Gingrich by examining his track record and showing his true motivations.

More like he and his Neocon ilk we will be sure there are mostly big government Neocon choices in the next election. They will make every effort to shut out those who believe in limited government including the tea parties. (unless they succeed in co-opting the entire tea party movement by then).

if newt G. is about to fling a fedora into the ring and this is after scott brown's new poll
numbers, do you all want to take bets on how many hypothetical Republican contenders
will do a likewise AFTER they see what our voters do up here in the next intense 55 hours?

This is great, cat fight between between Newt and Palin should be coming soon. Would be fun to watch two Fox news employees trying to tear each other down.

He can't possibly get the nomination after refusing to endorse Hoffman. If he thinks the 'Tea Party' Republicans will vote for him then hes dreaming. And the more moderate Republicans will probably unite behind Romney.
