Sadly, dumbasses like that don't know how close to the truth, yet how so utterly far, they are. Earthquakes MIGHT be linked to the Solar Plasma Sheath and its changing electrical current. So, yes, in a way 'Climate Change' is possibly linked to Earthquakes. But, as people keep saying over and over again 'Its the Sun, stupid!'.

Regarding the OP, Earthquakes? Unlikely, but ya know, heating and then sudden
cooling certainly can cause cracks to show up...

i.e., look at all the nuts attending that bogus Climate Conference in Copenhagen.
