"Victory HB 368 DEFEATED 324 to 34!" (http://community.icontact.com/p/chednh/newsletters/chenh/posts/victory-hb-368-defeated-324-to-34)

Homeschoolers in New Hampshire won a decisive victory for freedom and liberty as the New Hampshire House of Representatives responded to your voices to kill HB 368 today by a landslide vote of 324 to 34.

HB 368 would have imposed extremely restrictive regulations (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=50903686122) on homeschooling families.

Good to see parents bringing their homeschooled children to the protest and teaching them first hand about how things work.

Unprecedented is actually the way you spell it. I'm seeing it spelled right in the actual video but wrong in the title above it.

Good on 'em.
Though they should really take that momentum and push to eliminate all requirements.
NH is looking more and more like my backup plan, if VA's crocodilian attachment to the federal tit ends up having the obvious consequences.

I'm surprised something like this was being proposed there

Stellar news!

Someday, many many years from now, I hope to be able to have my own kids homeschooled in NH.
