Does anybody know of any trustworthy NGO's aiding in Haiti that take Paypal for donations?

I found Savethechildren (https://secure.savethechildren.org/01/2007_match?source=hp_tab_donate&WT.mc_id=1109_hp_tab_donate) is taking paypal but they're matching every donation x3 through USAID which I don't want to be part of. :(

They don't take PayPal, but MSF is there and is a good organization.

Thanks.

Donating to Doctors Without Borders.

MSF operates independently (http://doctorswithoutborders.org/aboutus/?ref=main-menu) of any political, military, or religious agendas. Medical teams conduct evaluations on the ground to determine a population's medical needs before opening programs. The key to MSF’s ability to act independently in response to a crisis is its independent funding. Eighty-nine percent of MSF's overall funding (and 100 percent of MSF-USA's funding) comes from private sources, not governments. In 2006, MSF had more than three million individual donors and private funders worldwide.

I have to pass on interaction.org

from their Goals for 2007-2009: (http://www.interaction.org/about-interaction)

GOAL #1:
Promote a bold agenda to focus U.S. development and humanitarian assistance on improving the conditions of the world’s poor and most vulnerable by engaging with the USG to advance poverty alleviation and humanitarian relief as major independent US foreign assistance priorities; and advocating for the creation of a Cabinet-level US Department of Development and Humanitarian Assistance.

hmmm... I didn't mean to suggest donating to interaction.org itself, but some talking head had mentioned that they had a list w/ links of 40 relief organizations in Haiti now.

MSF would always be my first choice, because they are independent.

A google search for "Doctors Without Borders" site:lewrockwell.com turned up this little morsel. ;)

Money is critical for disaster relief, but it is not the only issue. Efficient organization of relief services is equally important, and efficiency means circumventing the government bureaucracies that tend to boss people around after natural disasters. Doctors Without Borders, a private group known for providing medical care in poor nations, actually requested that people stop sending them money last week. Their operating model relies on very low overhead and complete independence from governments, and they understand that throwing more and more money at a disaster is not necessarily the best approach.
