As I've mentioned in here before, our Founding Fathers were unique in how they improved the world's long standing *social contract while implementing the slightest of alterations. While these men did think of themselves socially as high ranking gentlemen, they still had a great reverence for the past. In other words, they just added a little bit of themselves onto most of what had already been sufficiently peformed.
Therefore, great prosperity results from the most careful of altering.
In Obama, one sees a generation grown apart from its roots and a contempt for the history that got it here. Rather than they serve under a great council of past kings, philosophers and scientists, these neo people rule as their own best council.
*The Contract between government and the people that was born out of Socrates, developed by Plato, and blessed by the Almighty.
