I don't get it, could you answer this question for me. If the people are all ready virtuous what is the point of electing leaders to promote virtuosity? Similarly, if the people are not virtuous and you look towards your leaders to instill virtue, then it is said, that these people will not elect a virtuous leader. Leaders are only representative of the people. They do not instill anything that is not present.

Anyways, I disagree that a people must be religious to be free.

I'm sorry, but that whole video promotes Democracy. I don't think we need to go down the road to explain why Democracies are one of the worst forms of a State.
