"I was a proud and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama during the campaign and have worked as hard as I can to advance President Obama's legislative agenda."

Isn't that your job Harry, to make legislation and not the Presidents?

"I was a proud and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama during the campaign and have worked as hard as I can to advance President Obama's legislative agenda."

So in other words, he has "lots of black friends?"

Check that out. It's about Don Imus in 2007, and Obama said:

"I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus," Obama told ABC News, "but I would also say that there's nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude."

Obama said he appeared once on Imus' show two years ago, and "I have no intention of returning."

Nobody but Reid.

Good lord.

obama said something in his statement like: "it's okay that he said that because he is for social justice."

so apparently you can be racist, according to obama, so long as you are advocating bigger government and increased tyranny.

As for Reid's quote, basically I don't find anything wrong with it. I don't like political correctness. I find Obama's statement more telling.

There are several people running against him, but no liberty candidates have emerged as strong contenders in the GOP. Which is really kind of sad, because NV had some of the most cohesive Ron Paul supporters in the country.

AFAIK, they've banded together to work against Sue Lowden, but not to support any of her opponents.

He probably has big pocket casino gabmling and hetro/homsexual prostitution lobbies in his state funding him, it would not be easy to unseat him normally. But lately his numbers have been falling, so he may fall with his own weight.

Not much noise about Reid's talk about "light skinned" Obama's "negro dialect", imagine if a GOP senator had used exact same words in discussing Obama, there would have been a storm by dems.

so....why is he apologizing again? His statement was obviously true. I don't get why he needs to apologize for true statements, yet for creating the most communist legislation in my lifetime he is showered with praise.

that's the funniest thing about this - his statement was obviously true, just not very tactful.

How about: "Obama would never pop a cap in the ass of the terrorists...he would merely articulate the need for more offensive measures against them."

...that's as subtle as I can get.

Looks like Nancy's Bill wins.
Version of the House Bill on Health Care.
An arm just got twisted behind a big old closed door.
Did ya hear his squall?
Couldn't hear it from where I'm at.

If that's the case, then I was wrong and Public option just got put back in.
