Now they want to look at my (and my girlfriend's, etc.) private parts whenever we go to the airport? More evidence that the libs are as phony as ever in the age of Obama.

I have never bought the line that there ever was a left wing civil libertarian group. They want to regulate what I eat, who I can get health care from, what services I can get, and how much I will pay for the service. They ban smoking on private property, and dictate how much water can go in my toilet bowl.

This whole civil rights krap from the left is a myth.

I don't know.

I'm beginning to think the two parties are not R and D, they are the party in power (aka, the totalitarians), and the party out of power (aka, the libertarians). The party out of power is always for lower taxes, less war, more civil liberties, more government transparency, fiscal responsibility, etc.

I like the party out of power, but they never seem to actually hold office :p

Was it President Bush who had said around 2002 that we can't change the way we live because of bunch of rag tag insurgents else then they would have won?

As long as it's one of theirs doing it, they are fine with it.
