From the NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/09/business/economy/09assess.html?partner=rss&emc=rss)... (seriously, where else can you get leftist pleadings like this?)

President Obama ... is finding that it can be hard to focus on any one issue when so many demand attentioncall the wahmbulance... the "local community organizer" from Harvard is finding out that it is actually difficult to run an entire country? No way! who'da thought

White House has been trying to orchestrate a shift to showcase Mr. Obama as concerned and focusedgotta love it. Not trying to actually fix anything, just make it look like it for the voters.

Mr. Obama’s communications director, said that when the health care bill was completed, “that will give the administration more space to really communicate to the American people about those things that have been donewait, the dude can't even get on TV or YouTube for 10 minutes until the health-care bill is complete? is he writing all 1700 pages himself? by hand?

luckily, he'll be able to claim 1.6 million jobs created/saved by the census hirings for the next six months. Of course, when those people are fired in July after the census is complete and unemployment skyrockets, I'm sure they'll find someway to remind the media that Obama inherited the Census system from the Bush administration.

[Mr. Obama's] chief contribution — the $787 billion stimulus package — became law nearly a year ago; so... when big spending is an issue, the stimulus package was from Bush, and is all his fault. When they want to show him as "an international man of action", then the stimulus package is his, and he deserves all the credit.

In politics, Barack Obama addresses the issue of why, in his 20 years of membership in Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, he failed to notice that the pastor, Jeremiah Wright, is a racist lunatic. In a major televised address widely hailed for its brilliance, Obama explains that . . . OK, nobody really remembers what the actual explanation was. But everybody agrees it was mesmerizing.

Barack Obama gets into trouble with rural voters for saying that rural Americans are ''bitter'' and ''cling to guns or religion.'' Responding to charges that this statement is elitist, Obama responds: ``You are getting sleepy. Very sleepy.''

yes, it was just as unbecoming when Jimmy Carter (1977 - 1981) did it.

it has been pointed out that the Carter presidency and the Obama "presidency " have a lot in common
