Just got back yesterday from another four drive to and from a Rand Paul event, this time in Glasgow, Kentucky for a Meet & Greet, on Rand's birthday of all days. And once again, I got some pictures from the event that I would like to share with you all. You can find even more on my Flickr, here (http://flickr.com/photos/gageskidmore).

Though it was a very long drive once again, in the cold wintery roads, I had a lot of fun, and am still looking forward to attending the Rally for the Republicans.

You can find 15 or so photos from the event here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/gageskidmore/sets/72157623168443824/).

I'm Josh, I'm from Nova Scotia, I like Ron Paul.

The sweater vest is ugly. Someone needs to help Rand out with how he dresses. Sometimes I wonder about the ties he chooses to wear. He needs to dress like a winner, not a newb. Schiff should hook him up with a good tailor. Not a fan of the turtle-neck either.

I do agree with misspelled word, his hair is looking better.

i don't think he should change what he wears. Would I wear what he wears? hell no. But he's got a convincing lead in the polls and people like him. Some of that has to do with his approachability, which is related to his style of dress.

I really don't want to contribute to this silly sweater discussion, but I will say I'm a fan of argyle prints myself. Paisley being a close second. ;-P

Looks like a nice time at Shoneys, wish I could have been there.

Yeah I'm over here teaching english. I left for China a week before Obama took his oath. Its been nice but the most frustrating thing is not being able to do more for the revolution at home.

It does have its upsides though. For example, last night I had a class with a dozen or so local professionals, and they ended up asking me about guns in America. So the next two hours were spent discussing the Second Amendment and the benefits of such freedoms. Having such flexibility in the classroom makes my job much more enjoyable. I'm trying to give people over here a liberty-minded perspective to consider.

You have a very important role to play in the revolution. always wondered if RPF would be filtered in china.

One word that doesn't come to mind for me much when I think 'conservative' is 'cool'. lol. Rand definitely is holding up that stereotype for me! But that may appeal to voters. If Rand went around dressed like Schiff does, I think that could be a turn off.

As long as Rand doesn't wear a Snuggie to a debate, we're good. It seems like every time I see him, someone comments on his shoes.

I think you're right. Rand presents himself very well with the voters and I'm sure the way he dresses is part of that.
