Over a MILLION people will be there:

"More than a million spectators are expected to watch 40,000 runners tackle the 26.2-mile course that winds through about 15 city neighborhoods. That's million with an M! Let's get out there and give the spectators something to talk about and read about during the course of the 6-8 hour event."

what is the flyover gonna say???

AND --

IF somone is getting a banner for this fly over -- WHY DON"T you coordinate with the Granny Warriors and overnight the banner to them for THEIR flyover...this way, we can all pitch in for ONE banner to be used a bunch of times by various people..

Not sure but the banner might be just a backing they attach removable letters to that is owned by the airplane/advertising people that is "rented". Pure speculation however.

Since hindsight is 20/20 we could have had major news that day by handing out cups of water with Ron Paul's name on them heh

No kidding.. One person died and they cancelled the marathon halfway through..

How the hell can you plan an event such as a 26-mile marathon and NOT have enough water for the runners? People were literally drinking out of fountains in front of Lincoln Park Zoo.. eww..
