The person from politico said he could spoil it from someone else but Bennet said instead of talking about him as a spoiler they should be takeing him seriously and his message is one a lot of conservatives like.

It was Bill Press, not Bennet. Even though Press is a liberal I think he supports Ron Paul more than Bennet does lol.

um, tucker said "of course he won't get the nomination". They said he wasn't "running a real campaign", "not even trying to win". Tucker's a douche. He said everyone is america agrees we should be a socialist country, and that if RP was president everyone would try to kill him.

Well, the truth is I would have to agree that there hasn't been much of a campaign to date. At least it sure hasn't been apparent.

However, I think that is changing now. :)

Well, at least I know I am not completely delusional and somebody else saw it the way I did. Those comments like that are very damaging, particularly from someone who claims to support Ron Paul. Just my opinion. To me it is another gratuitous hurdle stuck in our way. Just one more misconception sent out to millions of people. Tell me that doesn't hurt us. All those comments that you posted broadcast to millions trying make up their minds - tell me it doesn't hurt us.

Billy,

Tucker's interviews of Ron Paul have been a definite net gain. I haven't seen this piece tonight yet, so I can't comment on it. I have noticed though that he seems less supportive than he once was. But that's just my opinion. Makes me wonder if something happened.

If anyone sees a YouTube of this piece, please post it.

Well a lot of people in this country DO want it to be socialist, which is really quite disappointing. Everyone keeps ranting and raving about universal healthcare, or gov't taking care of this issue etc.

If you'll notice Tucker prefaced that whole statement by saying that everyone wants "Hillary and her minions" to take care of their children because they (the parents) aren't capable. I think he is just as frustrated as many of us here, because he detests socialism as well. Problem is, a lot of people in this country have become REAL lazy and they don't want to take responsibility for anything. Just let the gov't deal with it, so what if it results in the loss of our freedom. I think Tucker was venting right there at his frustration with a large portion of the US population who is seemingly going on with this push towards socialism.

Maybe it was like Bill Hicks, one of my favorite people once said.

Maybe they took Tucker in the smoke filled offices of the network and made him watch an old reel of the Zapruder film of the JFK assasination after warning him about talking about Ron Paul so much and said to him " Any questions Tucker?":D

You guys are NUTS. Tucker Carlson has reported way more on Dr. Paul than any other newscaster. Have you forgotten?

What about the big increase in donations each quarter without MSM coverage, poll shenanigans, and few corporate donors? I think raising 5.1 million given these conditions is unbelievable and the media doesn't know how to handle the news?

I agree with you here.

He was being facitious saying "everyone wants socilism"

Hes actually trying to get people that dont like the way our country is going to say "wait a minute there buddy!!!! I dont like socialism, and who is this Ron Paul guy hes talking about? Maybe I should check him out."

A little of the old reverse psycology maybe?

I don't get Tucker at all. He claims to be a RP supporter (and I thought he was) but he finally get's a chance to plug him within the context of the show he spurts a bunch of nonsense.

If he's really a supporter why not take the oppertunity to help the campaign?

Me thinks it's more important to him to just take the opposite side of whatever the argument is.

Yes, but I'm unclear what the campaign has done to generate that besides the tour they made a week or two ago.

I mean that's how I saw it at least, the "Hillary and her minions" part broadcasted a degree of anger that what Hillary supports seems to be the status quo in many circles.

You know I've been thinking, not that I don't appreciate the airtime, because ron paul always does well whatever he goes on, but maybe Tucker (having a repuation as a bit of a clown) was permitted to endorse ron paul in the same way that fox news employs alan colmes to show they are 'fair and balanced'.... a weasel looking dude next to hannity the all american jock...

Just a thought.

I mean I just find it hard to believe Tucker is so principled and loves ron paul all that much... I mean the dude was known for being a MASSIVE TOOL before people started liking him cause he had RP on.

I have watched Tucker everyday since this campaign took off and I sincerely think he wasn't being serious

HAHAHA....I wonder if Bennett finally read all those emails I've been sending him every morning about Ron Paul....HAHAHA.

This is great news.

EDIT: Oh, well, I had fun for a little while, even if it wasn't really Bill Bennett.
