The ACLU says no body cavity searches (http://www.aclu.org/blog/national-security-technology-and-liberty/aclu-opposes-body-cavity-searches-all-airline-passenge)

if terrorists even perceive that scanners will work, they take the next logical step and conceal explosives in their body cavities....So it seems that when the next terrorist tries to blow up an airliner using this technique, all the usual jittery voices surely will once again say that we must abandon our personal dignity and privacy in order to block that particular kind of plot. So we'd just like to get ahead of the game and state right now that the ACLU will be opposed to that.

Sometimes, in this case yes.
I would like them to go after all of the ridiculous privacy invading "security" measures.

And so the dialectic begins.

How many people wanna bet they give us the see-thru-your-clothes machines as some sort of compromise? Funny how those machines are already in airports around the world anyway. And even more funny how a Venture Capital firm in Silicon Valley already had prototypes of these machines installed in the Hague in 2000.

Does anyone think that this wasn't planned?

Freaking ACLU is no better than the NAACP... just another controlled NGO serving the big circus for public consumption.
