Please chip-in for this cause! This will get an airplane fly-over saying "Ron Paul for President" over Dearborn for the NBC/Wall Street Journal Debate in Dearborn, MI on Tuesday.

hey bruman.. I dig this.. BUT, don't you think an airplane would be better for a big football game or something.. how many people are gonna be standing outside during the debates.. are the debates outdoors?

perhaps the idea is to get media attention.

The banner would not be during the debate, rather while everyone is entering the building/just before. This would be more "target-audience" specific.. but yea, I understand where you all are coming from.

*sigh*

Methinks it's not a good idea. If it were, more people would have jumped on board already.

The point of banner towing is name recognition, branding, getting people asking questions and wanting to know more. Commercial interests use them most often for product launches where something NEW is being introduced. Anyone attending the debates will already be seeing his name and hearing his ideas. His name is already familiar. You'd not expanding on anything. Is redundancy really what we're aiming for?

Also agree with everyone who's responded. I think college football games are good, lots of people, young people who are more receptive. Even if they don't go and vote in large numbers, some will vote, others will discuss with their parents, and if nothing else at least they are educated and informed and hopefully keep the constitution/liberty/libertarian position for the rest of their lives and shape the political future.
