Here's a message from ronpaulforum I didn't see here.

The Warrior Granny's are trying to raise $3,000 to pay for a HUGE Ron Paul banner to be flown over Charlotte Nascar Racetrack on Oct 13th. during a big race that will have over 100,000 people in attendance. The plane will fly over 8 times and will actually be visable to almost all of Charlotte. Race is nationally televised, so banner could get some national attention as well. They have already had donations that cover about half of the expenses. They will, of course, be at the racetrack early that morning so they can pass out Ron Paul literature and hope to get some people to wear Ron Paul teeshirts in the stands so that when cameras pan them....Ron Paul will get even more publicity! I thought this was a great way to get Ron Paul's name in front of a LOT of people, so offered to help get the word out. If you would like to chip in or find out more about this event, please click on link below. They have to have the money collected by OCTOBER 9th!

Unfortunately, Lowes Speedway is NOT in Charlotte, so saying it will be visible in Charlotte is misleading. The track is actually in Concord NC, about 10 miles northeast of Charlotte. Still a cool idea and Ill drop a note to the local tv news channels about it.
