IF Ron Paul runs we will be behind him.

OR we should do what the neo-cons did and get 10000 liberty minded people to run and slowly bow out that way we get a liberty minded candidate.

Central planning doesnt work. ;)

ya...Ron Paul 2012, because we all know how successful that's going to be!

(not very)

F'n Mark Sanford ruined any good chance of a decent man getting into office, well, I thought he was decent. someone gave him a crazy pill.

i meant to say "this guy"...not "this gay"...lolFreudian slip perhaps? :D

But I thought the guy was gay when I first met him. He had that persona to him for some reason (I think it was the hilighted hair), and then when I read a bit more about him I realized he was in fact not gay.

Ron Paul is not going to run for president in 2012. He's going to use his name recognition to throw his supporters at a worthwhile candidate like... Gary Johnson. Did you think this movement would live or die on the possibility of Ron Paul alone running for the presidency alone in 2012 alone? Gary Johnson is valuable. Not supporting him would be like boycotting silver because you refuse to carry anything but gold.

I'm kinda loosing interest in Johnson, but I still think that he'd be a good candidate to get behind.

I know Johnson is good on the drug war, but how is he on other issues? Foreign interventionism? The Fed? Income Taxes?

Also, I encourage people not to let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Let's support all liberty candidates, and if we have more than one viable candidate a couple years from now, so much the better. Then we can choose the best one to throw our support behind. For now, let's get good ideas and names out there.

I was originally rooting for a Sanford/Johnson ticket until Sanford fell in love with that Argentinian lady. Now we need Johnson in the race with Paul, with Johnson bowing out right before the Iowa caucus and Ron Paul getting a win and exciting the FSP into action in New Hampshire.
