The article claims that Dr. Paul's response on pre-emptive war was responded to positively by independants, but negatively by the Republicans.
Looking at the clip I don't think that's true. I think the republicans were split on their response, not all negative. The red line stayed relatively level. It did not make a sharp downturn.
Also, the white line, which represented all voters went up too.
