Remember that many county clerk's offices will be closed on Friday or closing early that day for New Years Eve.
If someone you talk to does not know if they can vote for Rand in May, have them go to https://cdcbp.ky.gov/VICWeb/VIC
and put in their name and birthdate.
Among other things they will find, they should find:
Political Affiliation of record: REPUBLICAN
Can I vote in my party's primary election? Yes
If they don't see those two lines, then they need to contact their county clerk as soon as possible -- this week not next week.
I have been able to convince my mother-in-law to vote for Rand, and did not know that she was registered Independent. She will be changing her registration this week in order to vote in the primary.
