Am I missing something here? I mean I don't like Rahm because he seems shady and he knows Obama but why is every body all over this guy? He's no controversial figure head like Carl Rove was so what gives? Has he been really fucking up lately? I'm just confused because I never hear anything about him so I don't understand what the big deal is.

There is only one reason that Rahm Emanuel and others have fought to keep how they handled billions of dollars of other people's money hidden from public scrutiny; they are hiding corruption. What would they have us believe they are hiding? Their unexpected business acumen?

:D

Rahm's master plan is to eventually become speaker of the house, then President someday.

See this:

http://crooksandliars.com/2008/07/17/speaker-of-the-house-rahm-emanuel

If you don't know who Rahm is, he is Obama's chief of staff. This is what "conservative" scumbag Senator Linday Graham had to say about him:

"This is a wise choice by President-elect Obama. He's tough but fair – honest, direct and candid."

Some other points about him:

-Rahm is a former bankster, serving on the board of Freddy Mac. During his time on the board, Freddie Mac was plagued with scandals involving campaign contributions and accounting irregularities.

-Rahm's father was a member of the terrorist group Irgun, which was responsible for such acts as the Deir Yassin massacre and the bombing of the King David Hotel.

-Rahm's brother Ezekiel Emanuel is a high profile bioethicist that advocates health care rationing of the elderly and disabled through a system called "life years".

Check out these below to get a brief idea on how dangerous he is.

The liberals at Daily Kos, where loyalist sentiments to the Democratic Party are more numerous than at FDL, are attacking the crap out of Jane Hamsher for working with Norquist. Yes, Norquist has a bit, err, black spots on his history from what I have seen. However, he has the right idea on some things just like Hamsher does for some things. More power to the alliance!

EDIT: There are some who have the right idea and back Hamsher up on this, but sentiments are turning against her. She is pretty out-gunned. She was first somewhat attacked on DKos for proposing an alliance with tea parties and libertarians; once she acted on the alliance and did this, many went into an uproar. But some people are still holding up the torch of alliance.

Yes, Norquist has a bit, err, black spots on his history from what I have seen. Geeze, everyone I know that talks about Norquist always has something bad to say about him, but it's always vague and never specific.

I don't know much about him but why is he always seemingly the object of everyone's dislike?:confused::confused:

After all, he's just like Harry Reid, Chris Dodd, Obama and Pelosi... If anyone can't size those thugs up in five seconds; I have no help for you.

Those guys, all but for the grace of the United Nations, should be on cook detail in Folsom Prison.

Similar demands had been made in recent past after it was leaked that Rahm was associating with some of his immediate family members who were terrorist or had terrorist ties. Would be interesting to see if Obama will keep him on the job.
