Obama’s approval rating: Lowest ever for any President since 1938, in 71 years

Gallup started tracking American President’s approval in 1938. And they have been tracking the Presidential approval rating ever since, for 71 long years.

As per Gallup, at 10 ½ months into his Presidency, President George W. Bush was at an astonishing 86% approval, Bill Clinton was at 52%, George H. W. Bush was at 71%, Ronald Reagan despite having inherited 18% unemployment and record high interest rates was at 49%, Jimmy Carter was at 57%, Gerald Ford was at 52%, Richard Nixon was at 59%, Lyndon Johnson was at 74%, John Kennedy was at 77%, Dwight Eisenhower was at 69%, Harry Truman was at 49%.

President Obama has indeed created history, managing to fare lower than any President whose approval has been tracked by Gallup since 1938.

In the Dec 4th-6th polling, Gallup reported that President Obama , 10 ½ months into his Presidency, got only 47% approval, a number lower than the corresponding number for any President at this point in time of their Presidency, since 1938.

1038 is the first year they have poll numbers for. There is a good chance he has the lowest approval rating EVER!

I think I'll wait to see what the average of polls says over the next few weeks. RealClearPolitics is good with that.

Why are Obama's poll numbers dropping? For me, aside from all the policies that are rammed up the countries backside that are so wrong for freedom loving Americans, he and his handlers are putting this president in perpetual campaign mode and I am suffering from media overload. Flitting around the world and across the country, like a child with ADD, giving meaningless speeches and cheer leading his democratic congress every time they fart in his direction does not make me feel safe nor proud. I'm from the Eisenhower era on up, and when he sat in the oval office and gave a speech I knew it was something important and I needed to listen. Dwight didn't go to the local hardware store to tell the citizens anything. He respected his high office and didn't act like he was the town mayor.

That's just my opinion and at the moment Obama is like a bad television commercial I can't turn off.

What did people expect? When they built him up to be a black Jesus and show doves being released as if the promised day is here....then people find out that he is just a 2 bit communist hell-bent on ruining the country. People are still rubbing their eyes if 25% love the guy.

Why is anyone still supporting him. That's what I can't figure out.

Well, thanks to our edumacation system, the US has about 20% radical socialists who will approve of his agenda with full knowledge of it.

I'm all for letting them have their socialist death trap. Every state should seceede. Who wants to take a bet who will be the most prosperous in 10-15 years?
