Does this include what has been spent on "activities" or do you just want to know donations to the campaign. Between the two I've gone through several hundred dollars I don't have.

He said TO THE CAMPAIGN. That doesn't include grassroots stuff.

Well, it seems that many here would just like to get a feel for how much more the supporters here can legally contribute. This therefore does not include activities.

I saw some threads a couple weeks ago that you can donate up to $4,600, since half of that can be donated in anticipation of going toward the general election.

Can anyone confirm this?

I need to know how many credit cards I need to sign up for....j/k. :)

But seriously, has anyone donated more than $2,300, and received a refund?

The campaign stated that they're not setup to accept general election donations, and that they would issue refunds. I recall somebody actually getting some money back already. It was posted on dailypaul.com maybe a week or so ago.

It would seem that a majority of us (and therefore a majority of his supporters) have room to "give" to the campaign. Of course, there is a difference between the conceptual ability to donate $2300 and the physical ability to do so.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully they will use some of the 5 mil to get prepared to accept general election donations. That would certainly make it easier to reach 12 mil this quarter. And they're going to have to collect those monies sooner or later, so why not sooner?

I still have $500 or so of breathing room, but I'd like to know that I can come home a little tipsy one night and drunkenly donate another $2300 only to wake up the next morning SOMEWHAT regretting my fiscal irresponsibility. That would be a comforting feeling.

My husband is maxed out. I have given approximately $500, so I have more to give. My budget is tight, so I'll have to wait until later this quarter to give more.

I have NEVER given $$ to a politician before. This feels good to give to Ron Paul!

At this point, $63.21.

$22 in a bumper sticker order directly from the campaign.

$41.21 on 9/29 (in honor of Kansas State 41, UT 21).

The financial situation will get better in Q4 (in case you haven't heard, COBRA sucks), so I am planning on donating more - but I still have lots of outstanding medical bills I need to get caught up on.

The current average from the first 52 polled is about $520 / person (~ $27000 total). Do whatever you like with those statistics :)

81 pollsters. ~ $610 / contributor. ~ $ 50000 total thus far from folks here, on average.

I should note that the distribution is definitely bimodal - the average does not represent the majority.

65.00 but probably about $500 on materials. I will probably concentrate more on donating to the campaign after the 12th.

Interesting poll.
Perhaps those who have maxed out on their donations deserve something special on the forums. How about a custom user title under their username, maybe a little gold coin .gif as well, if they can document their donations
