Obama gave a speech where he promised that he was ready to take bold action TODAY. He said that climate change is science, not fiction and that the US would take bold action even if an agreement was not reached.

He also said it wouldn't happen unless all major players were on board. They are not

Yeah, when he says bold action he means the Department of Energy will buy a couple more jets for coal company executives.

Indeed. The buzz here in DK is that no agreement will be reached as well.

News reports are coming in that Pelosi is being TOLD that she has to leave early because there is a ginormous, record breaking snowstorm expected to hit DC. This may be the biggest snowstorn to hit DC in December in possibly a century.

Oh, the irony.

We currently have a snowstorm in southern Denmark as well. Police are advising people to stay indoors. Irony indeed.

Obama is Mad!

COPENHAGEN — A visibly angry Barack Obama threw down the gauntlet at China and other developing nations Friday, declaring that the time has come "not to talk but to act" on climate change.

"I have to be honest, as the world watches us... I think our ability to take collective action is doubt and it hangs in the balance,” Obama told the COP-15 plenary session as hope for anything more than a vague political in agreement faded.

“The time for talk is over, this is the bottom line: We can embrace this accord, take a substantial step forward. We can do that and everyone who is in this room will be part of an historic endeavor or we can choose delay,” he said.

Is God pissed, or does he have a sense of humor?

If there is a god, he must be a pretty funny guy.
