Unlike the other Scandanavian nations, Denmark has a relatively mild climate which usually doesnt see snow in December.
Perhaps the good Lord is sending a message to the earth worshipping Warmists at Copenhagen! LOL

Blizzard Dumps Snow on Copenhagen as Leaders Battle Warming
Dec. 17 (Bloomberg) -- World leaders flying into Copenhagen today to discuss a solution to global warming will first face freezing weather as a blizzard dumped 10 centimeters (4 inches) of snow on the Danish capital overnight.
“Temperatures will stay low at least the next three days,” Henning Gisseloe, an official at Denmark’s Meteorological Institute, said today by telephone, forecasting more snow in coming days. “There’s a good chance of a white Christmas.”
Delegates from 193 countries have been in Copenhagen since Dec. 7 to discuss how to fund global greenhouse gas emission cuts. U.S. President Barack Obama will arrive before the summit is scheduled to end tomorrow.
Denmark has a maritime climate and milder winters than its Scandinavian neighbors. It hasn’t had a white Christmas for 14 years, under the DMI’s definition, and only had seven last century. Temperatures today fell as low as minus 4 Celsius (25 Fahrenheit).

Somehow they'll spin the blizzard into being a direct cause of global warming, and the sheeple losing their minds over this issue will lap it up.

yep.
Warm spells and they say: "Aha! See, we were right."
Cold spells and they say: "Occassional anomolies don't disprove the overall science."

Exactly. Now they say climate change will cause "weather extremes"

In other news "On his way to Copenhagen to talk about global warming Al Gore's plane crashed into an iceberg after to much ice collected on the wing and was unable to steer away from his own rhetoric.

As I said several years ago during a cold snap, "This means that Al Gore is giving a global warming speech somewhere."
P.S. It just shows how clueless these people are. If I were scheduling a global warming conference like this, I'd make in someplace like Riyadh in the middle of July.

Look's like Denmark/Copenhagen is in for more snow and record cold down to 15F.

It's like everytime they do a "Global Warming" panel in D.C., it's either raining 3 inches an hour, or an extreme blizzard in the wrong season.

Interestingly enough I had this discussion w/ a weatherhead on reddit. They brought out their hockey stick graph to show how the temp had risen over the last gazillion years and condemned republicans(obviously he doesn't know me) for only looking at the tail end of the graph.
It was the first time I had seen the graph and what I immediately noticed was that, even though there was a rise in overall temps, the intensity of the fluctuations
of heating and cooling had become much less extreme.
They really didn't know how to answer when I mentioned this and said that perhaps this was a natural trend in planetary history and that the decrease in extreme fluctuations proved that we were entering a less chaotic more stable era.

Sounds like an interesting discussion. Were they coming around a little?
Read page 8 of the Global Warming Skeptics Handbook II and see how they respond to the debunking of the hockey stick graph it has there.

Also, Washington DC is also likely to be hit by a crippling blizzard. Based on the computer models (not climatological, but meteoriolgical) Washington DC may be facing a storm of historic proportions that will shut them down for days.
And, no I am not kidding or exagerating. Not saying for sure this is going to happen ,but the chances are at least 50%.

Thanks for the link. At a glance it looks to be a good read so I bookmarked it!
The discussion was about half for /half against(which surprised me). As with everything on the interwebs people fall into there own camps and give no ground.
However, those pro climate change could not answer me when I asked that perhaps we were moving into a more stable period.
I don't know. I'm not a climatologist and am highly skeptical when governments start talking "cap and trade" and fear mongering.
I am not as concerned about if it exists and is caused by humans as I am about what the governments of this world have intentions of doing about it and how their "solutions" will effect us.

I hope you don't get as much as they are predicting. We just got 15 inches last week, then followed 45 mph winds and blew drifts like you wouldn't believe. Shut everything down for two days.

That's an excellent point to discuss. Focus on the money. Who benefits most if they pass cap and trade? Gore, Goldman Sachs, the World Bank, and countless third world countries. What is the proposal do to with all these hundreds of billions of dollars? What is their solution other than just to tax coroporations, citizens, and entire countries in an effort to get them to stop causing "climate change"?

Hence the reason they changed the hoax's name from " Global warming" to "Climate Change"...

Are these projections being made by the same entities that predicted that 2009 would be a record year for hurricane activity?
Every year, a psychic predicts the president will be assassinated. Once in a lifetime, one of them is right.

Haha. Nancy Pelosi and other American based carbon taxers are being told they have to leave Copenhapgan NOW because of an expected late autumn blizzard to hit DC. That is right, it is not even winter yet, and DC may face a record breaking snowstorm.

Meteorological models are much more accurate when they focus on the short term. The probablility of this happening now is probably about 75%. If this was a storm forecasted to hit a week from now, it would likely be way off.
