Act IMMEDIATELY (tonight) to take advantage of this

The Ron Paul story is ALL OVER THE NEWS on the Internet. Below is the link to all the stories.

http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&resnum=1&ct=title&ncl=1121661519

RIGHT NOW, while the iron is hot, you have a golden opportunity to help Ron Paul online. Simply click on all of these web stories (more than 100) and find which ones are on sites that allow comments. On the ones that allow comments, register and/or log in if necessary, and then make your Pro-Ron Paul comments.

Go to this right away, since the news story is hot right now, but it will die down and become much less widely read within the next 24 hours.

Please do this. Why don't you report on this thread the web links of those sites with stories you find that accept user comments, and that way you can pave the road for those who come after you to quickly get to the sites which allow comments.

And PLEASE remember to be polite, articulate, and positive! Don't gripe about the articles - sell Ron Paul. Tell them why YOU support Ron Paul.

My favorite are the positive articles where RP "supporters" criticize the journalists for not previously knowing who RP was. How assanine.

And personally, I'm not worried about commenting on articles.

We went out for a couple hours earlier and put up more signs/banners. And we're doing the same again around 5:30am. Some people will be hearing his name for the first time tomorrow... let's help them see that he has local support as well.

Some etiquette, however:

1. Don't be cocky, i.e. "IN YOUR FACE, X SUPPORTERS!"

2. Don't be conspiracy-minded. Think about what Paul would say. Be judicious about how you say it.

3. Don't spam 10,000 links in a post. You'll piss everyone off.

4. Be kind. Seriously, as you'll remember as a kid, the best way of pissing off the opposition is to be kind with your inner self smirking the entire time.

5. Only state campaign facts. Don't deviate into what YOU want his candidacy to be about. Stick to the damned message!

6. Invite curiosity. Make them WANT to learn more instead of slamming them in the face.

With these tips, you too could learn the power of persuasion. ;)
