Now that we have the attention of the media because of our fundraising haul, we can use them to spread the word on the Oct. 12 registration deadline in both states.
Contact the Manchester Union-Leader or The Villlage Voice. Issue press realses from your meetup.com groups. Ask them to do a story on how Ron Paul is making a play for antiwar Democrats and other independents but they need to switch their party registrations by Oct. 12 if they want their antiwar vote to count for something. With Hilary Clinton so far out in front on the Dem side, we may attract antiwar voters looking to make their vote count.
There was a good article in on Taki's Front Pager today about a fellow who lives in Greenwich Village who sells Ron Paul buttons on a street corner. He says he's found a lot of support and intrerest there. It would beehove us to spread the word through the media that is now suddenly interested in Rep. Paul to make sure people know if they want to vote for him, they have nine days to do so.
Also in the future we need to post alerts on voter registraion deadlines on closed GOP states with plenty of lead time.
