It's nice to see a leftist magazine like Rolling Stone come out and be honest about Obama breaking many of his campaign promises, but once again they blame it on him going along with "laissez-faire intellectuals" and blame the crisis on "deregulation". The logic is very flawed and it doesn't show signs of people understanding free-market capitalism any better than when they did five years ago.

Matt Taibbi is a smart dude. He's able to find all the connections and make sense of them to the average reader. He needs to look up a definition for Laissez Faire though, because none of these bankers fit that bill.
