Just to give an idea of the challenge we have, it appears the average donation to the campaign last quarter was about $88.

If this is true, 56,818 people donated last quarter to reach $5 million.

Thus, the campaign is looking increase donations this quarter by about 2.5 times as many people who donated last quarter. Assuming some of those from last quarter are maxed out, it could be closer to three times as many donors needed.

We can assume the MeetUps will grow, that RP will get a lot more MSM coverage (the last day or so has been great for that) and paid MSM advertising that the campaign says they will be doing should help.

We can beat the $12 milion if we, as the grassroots, increase our efforts three fold and get that many more new supporters in the fold. This is by no means impossible. It will require some new creativity and harder work, that's all.

Let's step it up and do it!

Actually, wasn't it 40$ per donation, with 125,000 donations?

No average donation is in the 80-90 dollar range.

If that is the case, then we need 300,000 donations, which is only a little more than double last quarter, which is very doable. I read $88 per donation somewhere, but it could well be $40.

IF the Ron Paul relvolution grows at the same pace as last quarter (which becomes exponential) this is very doable - assuming everyone really steps up the grassroots AND donates the same (or more) that they donated last quarter if they have not maxed $2,300.

Still very doable. At first this $12 million number scared me, and we are off to a slow start due to a hangover from the home 3Q stretch last quarter, but if we re-focus our grassroots activity to spead the good word AND all donate the same we did last quarter, $12 million WILL happen as the amount of supporters (and they will dontate) will grow.

Let's get to working our rears off on the grassroots efforts while we cut down on spending on things we don't need so we can all donate what we did last quarter - if not more.

Actually, the average donation was $40. Both the Paul campaign and the media have been reporting it all day.

I really dont think we can get 4,000,000 by Novemeber 1st. I do think we can do 12 million for Q4

It is not my place to say what he should be doing, but I do believe firmly that this might be a task Avaroth could tackle.

My wife and I have a LOT to go before we max out... like 8x what we've given so far, in fact.

Go BALLS OUT in Q4!

They need to put up the live donation updates again with the names. People like it and it fuels donations.
