Michael Williams has been endorsed by Senator DeMint's Senate Conservatives Fund.

Anyone from Texas? Is Michael Williams the best liberty candidate running for Senate in Texas? His issues page is pretty good.

No mention of his stance on the wars though.

I heard about him first from DeMint and thought he was interesting. I checked out his site and agree with everything he has to say.

No mention of his stance on the wars though

That could be a good thing.

Sounds good in the youtube vid, and speaking at a Tea Party event is a good sign. Will need specifics though. Does he think that all stimulus is inherently harmful? Or does he just think that Obama's $787B stimulus was bad, but if done right, stimulus can be a good thing? I think that separates a truly principled candidate vs a RINO.

Found this old article. It's a little disappointing. He wasn't quite a Ron Paul supporter.

In his remarks, Williams showed no misgivings about McCain, his choice for president since former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani's hopes faded.

Guess you can't really blame him for towing the Party line after McCain/Palin were already a done deal:
