During one of the conference workshops an activist asks 14 year-old students, “Spit or swallow?… Is it rude?” This audio clip segment is also posted here [26].

That’s not all. The conference also included a workshop where GLSEN activists promoted “fisting” to 14 year olds. Here is the shocking clip where the activists promoted “fisting” to the students:

What you did not see is the man leading the discussion positioning his hand and showing 14 year olds how to insert their entire hand into the rectum of their sex partner.

I'm torn on this. The light-hearted manner in which the information from the seminar is disbursed is more frightening than the information.

My poor little brain isn't able to accept "fisting" as anything other than a perversion, and so I naturally recoil. But if it's something that is common in the gay community, then I don't see why gay kids can't be taught about how to be safe. Isn't this just an advanced version of the condom on a banana?

I am not a big fan of teaching this stuff in schools, and I'm really convinced now more than ever that Jennings isn't interested in safe schools as much as he is safe-sex schools, but the issues are distinctly different.

I keep going back to the fact that the religious right managed to crucify Jocelyn Elders for suggesting that masturbation might be a way for young people to resist the temptation to engage in riskier behaviors. The suggestion was at an AIDs conference, so it's implied that young males would be the target audience of such frank discussions. All she said was, "I think that it is part of human sexuality, and perhaps it should be taught."

She was freaking right. (And to be blunt, if I had a daughter, I'd probably prefer that her dates masturbate several times before picking her up! )

Having said that, I'd like to expound on my assertion that my biggest problem is the light-hearted manner that the information is being disseminated, and I think park-trolling is right up there.

It's hard for me to comment on this, because I'm not a gay man nor did I grow up as a homosexual man. So, in the most abstract terms possible, I'm comfortable with acknowledging the fact that the behavior exists, but I am not comfortable with the fact that it is acceptable. If I had a gay son, I'd be frantic that those behaviors would put him at great risk. I can't imagine having an educator discuss that in the frame of acceptable. It's like telling girls they can sneak into bars, or wear shirt skirts and flag down cars from a busy corner. That conversation should start with an outright condemnation of the entire concept, and conclude with a discussion of safe-sex as a last resort.

I know there are several openly gay men in our ranks - I'd really like to hear their opinion on this.

Perhaps I am wrong, but I would imagine that the risk of AIDS decreases with the number of partners one has, and I suspect this is true of all STDs across the entire spectrum of sexuality. I think it's perhaps unrealistic to teach abstinence only, but I also think it's repulsive to insist that unrestrained promiscuity isn't damaging, both emotionally and physically.

Not every form of sexual gratification or fetish needs to be taught in schools. Good Lord. The fact it exists certainly isn't grounds for putting it into the curriculum, or else we'd be teaching kids how to calm an animal so they can... you get the idea.

I will say, though, that there was no quicker way to "stop" a lot of people in my high school from engaging in anal sex than the phrase "rectal tearing" which was employed during a warning of what might happen if someone wanted backdoor action.

I have not found a single item that talks about straight sex (yet! - second link is reallly, really long...), but as this is being promoted as "sex ed" and "tolerance" - things all students should read and even be assigned - the intent is obvious... to promote homosexuality as a lifestyle. To convert straight kids to become gay, or at least bi.

They also push Marxism, with page turning titles like: "classism" and "revolutionary voices" here's an excerpt from the latter:

It just seems, as if the "Safe School" Czar, couldn't be anymore the opposite of its title if you were to try. I think a Megan's law candidate would likely be less ironic.

Unfortunately for GLSEN, undercover journalists with Mass Resistance recorded these outrageous sessions at Tufts University. The audio was later leaked to a local radio station. This created such an uproar that GLSEN leaders were forced to apologize for their disgusting behavior.

Despite the controversy, Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings and his GLSEN organization did nothing to clean up their act. In fact in 2001 activists handed out “fisting kits” to the children and teachers who attended the GLSEN conference.

But that’s not all. The children who attended Kevin Jennnings’ GLSEN 2005 Conference also left with their own “Little Black Book – ***** in the 21st Century”.

I think the true question is why is there a fisting/I mean safe school czar? Why is there even a deprtment of education. Education has nothing to do with interstate commerce and the feds should not have their nose in it. It is a function of each state to regulate as they see fit.

Agree to a point. ERIC is GREAT!, beyond that, we are better off without the department of education. But lets keep ERIC. Transfer it to the LOC or something.

Amendment 29: Congress shall have the power to enact a central repository of human knowledge and informational resources for various purposes, accessible by all Americans, and free of political bias.

(28 is to counter the 14th)

This should grant actual authority to maintain the LOC, plus the authority to incorporate something like ERIC within it's substructure. Just off the top of my head, mind you. I'm sure it can be improved upon.
