So looking at that page, this is the first I've heard we need to "register" to vote in a primary. Anyone have details on how we go about doing that?

What does the far right column mean? For example, with New Hampshire it says 1/12 (10 days). What's with the 10 days?

I think this means you just need to be a registered voter.

looks like it is the date that you have to be registered by in order to vote in the primary and the days is the number of days before the election takes place -
for instance for Texas it's 2/04 & 29 which is February 4, 29 days before the March
primary date.

Illinois is a complicated system called a 'Loophole' primary and I really don't understand it.

For all of you West Virginians out there, I e-mailed the following to the person in charge of that page at the campaign (I've never been to West Virginia -- to my knowledge -- but I love all of you who post here and are very gung-ho about RP in WV):

To: brandon@ronpaul2008.com

Subject: Primary Caucus Change (West Virginia)

Please update West Virginia to reflect the West Virginia Republican Party's first-ever online presidential convention in which a large percentage of delegates (all of West Virginia's "at large" delegates) will be chosen between January 1 and 14, 2008, via the state GOP's website.

Registration for the online convention is limited to registered Republicans, and those who wish to participate must sign-up online between October 1 and November 30.

The sign-up site is here: http://www.wvgopconvention.com/onlinevoting/

The Convention site is here: http://www.wvgopconvention.com/

Here's the press release for the event: http://www.wvgopconvention.com/news/contentview.asp?c=42499

Thanks. The information they have up there now is totally inaccurate.

You should visit the Mountain State sometime, by the way. :D
