Rep. Baird, a Democrat from Washington, will be retiring in 2010. I am pretty sure we had a liberty candidate running up there. Maybe Cloud?

An open seat warrants a bit of interest, particularly if we have a guy in there ready to go.

That's my district. Would happily support any liberty candidate up here.

Great opportunity for a Republican pickup. Why doesn't he have a website? I googled him and Goodsearched him to no avail.

Michael Delavar was our 2008 liberty candidate.

He made a good showing in the primaries, but was slaughtered in the general.

Thanks. He should be higher up on Google's first page.

I will campaign for him in Lewis County. I will be attending the Lewis County Republican Party meeting next month, and I will stump for him there.

Let me make a suggestion. He should avoid mentioning any direct association or support for Ron Paul as the Republican Party in this district is highly neoconnish. His platform will appeal to them so long as it isn't associated with Ron Paul who is widely regarded as a kook around here. These people are highly stuck on the statist propaganda.
