The first thing which really pissed me off is that they use the word 'czar', not only do the democrats use this word, but the white house used that word in response as well. I worry that nobody really understand socialism, its history and failures.

Congress shouldn't 'prevent' these forclosures, let the free market take its course and let people learn a lesson.

I'll be calling my representative tommorow (a democrat) to put in my 0.02

Congress switchboard (202) 224-3121 (in case you are interested in being heard too)

It was easy to see we were in trouble when King Bush the 1st appointed a drug czar. And then when King Bush the 2nd wanted a department of "Homeland" Security I knew we were SCR****. Organizing our government on ideas gotten from Russia shows how bad things are.

Waste of time. Just extra crap we don't need.

You know, if people hadn't bought houses they couldn't afford and banks hadn't made a bunch of bad loans, there wouldn't be this many foreclosures.

It's cause and effect. If I stick my hand in the fire, it's going to get burned. When something has a high financial risk and you invest in it, knowing it's a risk; you better not cry if it goes south.

How about consumers and banks alike exercise fiscal responsibility?

The Fed's cheapening of credit didn't exactly help matters. Their interference sends the wrong signals to the market, and the problem is then exacerbated by government regulations and policies which give incentive to real estate investment over other forms of investment.
