Sadly, I think Mr Flynt doesn't realize the extent to which people have been pushed in this country that they are showing up armed at Town Hall meetings. The days of Redress by quiet petition and even marching are coming quickly to an end no thanks to the police state we live under. While it may be prudent NOT to show up armed, its become increasingly obvious that it takes pulling something considered 'reprehensible' to get one's message across.

The entire thing is misleading. Both primary events (in NH and AZ) had Right to Carry people outside the events. Too bad Flynt seems to have forgotten that the 2nd protects the 1st...

1st Amendment protects the freedom of press (even the likes of a pathetic magazine like Hustler). The guy that shot flynt supposedly was mad over an interracial picture in his magazine.

The first amendment says, "Congress shall make no law...abridging freedom of speech or of the press." It doesn't say, "No person shall shoot another person... abridging the freedom of speech or of the press." Obviously the shooter was wrong. But that has nothing to do with the 1st amendment.
