Wouldn't it make more sense to say Afghan people? Or do men not matter unless they are under the age of 12?

They are worried about the rights of women, and though that somehow American military occupation could help preserve them. Now the illusion is wearing off, and they realize that in the long run our occupation will only have negative consequences.

I can't stand it that some of these groups focus only on women and children, as if men are worthless and expendable.

I don't know what's sadder - the fact that they used the fairest skinned Afghani for that ad or the fact that I noticed.

You then probably don't know that average Afghani woman is more fair skinned than our typical American woman today. You may want to pick up some older copies of national geographic.
