yes his efforts to me dont add up to me from a biblical perspective.
It all comes from a passage that says that countries that bless israel shall be blessed and countries that curse it shall be cursed...But to bless Israel doesnt necessarily mean what hagee says it must mean. Nor do I think God expcect us to ruin our country to police teh Middle East. but ye sthere are many of these raptur etypes taht think on these lines - please looking forward to teh cleansing of the earth? Yum thats sound sliek a good ol time - but see they enjoy it b/c they think they wont be here and will be crunchin on popcorn from above.

ANyway most of these folsk think they are being good so keep that in mind when you try to awaken them. They arent chooisng to follow something that we know is suspicious and maybe much more sisnitser.

Have to say Moyers' show was disappointing compared to the stuff already on youtube. He was careful to hide their true flakiness. Moyers is too PC most of the time.

He did raise/imply one interesting point -

All three of the main so-called Abrhamic religions have expectations or prophecies of their founder, messiah or mahdi coming back to the world and ruling from Jerusalem at which time everyone in the world will become a member of the ruler's religion or be consigned to "hell".

How is that philosophy compatible with liberty, freedom or anything but a tyranny?

There seems to be an occasional broad brush around here painting all Bible believing Christians as hateful bigots. (For the record I am not a Bible believing Christian. I used to be, but I'm not any more.) In my experience you will never meet a kinder gentler soul, full or love and joy, than one who has put their trust in Christ and claim him as Lord. We do ourselves and Ron Paul a great disservice when we lump all conservative Christians in with the Pharisees who thrust themselves into the spotlight and "sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men..."

All that being said, John Hagee is antichrist.
