I run a forum with 12k+ members.... setting up something that is crash proof is NOT that hard if your host is good.

I suggest http://www.forest.net I have used them for YEARS (1998) and they have been awesome. Oh - and we don't need to pay much more than $30month either.

well where the hell is chat then? i don't find it and i can't search so what gives? and u can't click NEW POSTS anymore, after all that moving threads and then just click new posts bullshit?

i wish we could have a poll or something before these changes are made its getting effing annoying

They are upgrading the server.

Except for those of us who have been banned from that forum for no good reason! It is dissent from forum policies that define the true patriot and champion of liberty, except at ronpaulforum.com This forum at least allows us to be free and to challenge people. Which is why we need a new server and I applaud Bryan and Josh for making the first steps to get one tomorrow. Then we can become a forum monopoly and shut down that other forum that bans people without habeas corpus.

I'd rather risk some downtime as opposed to having the forum up and not being able to fully utilize it. I don't think we're going to be overloaded at 1AM...

This place tonight is like having fucking blueballs. :eek:

Search is back up.

We had it temporarily shut off when we had around 400+ people constantly requesting data from the server. We are only running on one measly gb of ram. Bryan and I will be looking at larger servers tomorrow.
