Dr. Rand Paul, an ophthalmologist and Texas Republican Congressman Ron Paul’s son, is a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Kentucky who has become a poster child for the Tea Party movement, says Jennifer Duffy, a senior editor for The Cook Political Report.

Paul’s website (http://www.randpaul2010.com/) features an upcoming “Tea Party Money Bomb (http://www.randsteaparty.com/),” a fundraising campaign meant to “dump” a large amount of money into his account – just like colonist dumped tea into Boston Harbor in 1773.

Can we promote the moneybomb in those 900 groups?

Good idea, Bergie.

Anyone want to start a thread to head up the effort? I'll keep track of the progress in the Google Doc for the Meetups, PMs, and web site contacts.
