Reuters is a big news wire, of course, so YAHTZEE, that gets it spread all over the place.

It's funny how the tone of different things changes.

"Paul has been a formidable presence in Republican presidential debates, challenging top rivals like former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Arizona Sen. John McCain and strongly condemning the Iraq war."

And even the tone regarding his supporters is different (for today anyway ;) ).

The performance by Paul, an obstetrician-gynecologist from the Houston area, more than doubled the $2.3 million he raised in the second quarter and reinforced the grass-roots strength of his large online fan base.

There's an inaccuracy. It says he's a "nine-term" Congressman.

I'm gonna send this over to the Hannity show, just in case he missed the news. LOL

Yeah, this is big time. This article may end up in the majority of newspapers across the country.

I think it's 10. He won a special election. Lost the next one, won 3 after that (78, 80, 82), and has been serving 6 terms from 97-2007 (elected in 96, 98, 00, 02, 04, 06)

:D

I'm sure he'll be disappointed to find out that the last-week-of-the-quarter fundraising numbers didn't include the donations for the whole quarter, as he thought (or said, anyway). :p
