This effort is focused on contacting this massive list of liberty-oriented websites asking them to promote the Rand Paul moneybomb. Thanks for the idea, tkubic46.

The message we send should include a request that they help promote Rand's Tea Party Moneybomb (http://randsteaparty.com) by adding a banner to their site and notifying their members somehow either through a message, email, or front page blog post. Please post below which of them you will contact and I will indicate this below. Also, let me know when they respond whether or not they agree to promote it.

Here is a sample message, but I encourage you to customize the message to include information on the issue important to readers of that particular site.

Hello,

As you may know, Ron Paul's son, Rand Paul, is now ahead in the latest poll for United States Senate in Kentucky. His website is located at www.RandPaul2010.com (http://www.RandPaul2010.com). Rand leads by 8 points in a recent poll by SurveyUSA.

Grassroots supporters of Rand Paul have announced a new date for an online fundraising “money bomb” called “Rand's Tea Party” (www.randsteaparty.com (http://www.randsteaparty.com)). Supporters will pledge to donate at RandPaul2010.com on December 16th for what will surely be another record-breaking day.

I am writing you this email to ask you to join the coalition helping to promote this fundraiser for Rand Paul. I simply request that you to add a banner to your site (they can be found here: http://randsteaparty.com/banners.html (http://randsteaparty.com/banners.html)) and/or reach out to your members through an email or blog post. Any way you can help would greatly be appreciated.

Please respond with:

whether or not you would like to join the coalition
the standard banner sizes for your site

In Liberty,

The RandsTeaParty.com Grassroots Team

Has anyone asked Micheal at the Daily Paul if he'll put up a banner for Rand's moneybomb?

Rand is only leading by 3%, within the margin of error, not 8% as the message states.... Don't want them thinking we have this in the bag, because we still have a LOT to overcome... the worst is yet to come.

It's 8% among self-identified conservatives.. But I understand your sentiments about thinking we have this in the bag. I will probably revise the % when sending future messages.

What sites would you like to contact?

Boy does that list need a scrub.

I contacted libertymaven.com and the dailypaul.com some time back and have not received a response. I also emailed this out to several local Ron Paul MeetUp groups that are still running. I have been working on the Baltimore Chapter of the Campaign for Liberty (and fall school work) so I haven't been that vocal. I have been getting the word out about this promotion as much as possible.
