A train driver who subdued a crazed man threatening other passengers could bizarrely lose her job for "gross misconduct," The Post has learned.

On Oct. 22, Adeline Bayne-Goody, a 56-year-old subway motorwoman with more than 20 years on the job, held down lunatic Jason Atkinson at the 78th Street station on the No. 1 line until police arrived.

But the next day officials told her she had committed "gross misconduct" and should lose her job for leaving her post, according to MTA documents.

Atkinson, 38, starting berating passengers in the first car of a southbound train at the 86th Street station at 10:40 a.m., documents show.

Thats the mentality of the socialist state. We all have our place in the machine, and that's where we belong. If something goes wrong, stay calm and wait for the state to arrive and fix it.

They're trained to handle these things. You might get hurt. While we used to consider that bravery, now it's considered foolishness and is punishable by law and by loss of your job.

That is typical. The only people with rights are the psycho bums who make life miserable for everyone else. Our society is truly insane.

In the SF Bay Area, a totally average citizen (an engineer of some type), pushed a crazy bum away who was harassing (and dropped his pants to) his wife . The bum fell and hit his head, and died. The bleeding heart leftist media demonized and called for the head of this poor engineer.

It is a constant on public transit to have these crazy bums harass and assault people. Here's a story from this week (it's only the rare story that makes the news, this stuff happens all the time). It would be no surprise at all for this guy to be back on the street within a year.:

A San Francisco homeless man who has become the lead suspect in connection with random stabbings on Muni buses was previously arrested and convicted for crimes in Half Moon Bay earlier this year.

Bobby Lynn Brown Jr., a 30-year-old homeless man, is suspected of multiple unprovoked assaults with a knife, including stabbing a 24-year-old woman twice in her torso on Monday. Police believe Brown may have also stabbed an 11-year-old boy in September.
