The meter isn't working on the campaign site

It's just a static image on the site. My guess is they're in the process of creating a new flash widget to work with lady liberty, and perhaps do some cool rollover stuff with the states...

Donation total rollovers from the states might be neat. But they'll probably just do something for the primary states.

I'm getting excited about seeing the new thermometer. It gives us a better idea about how much needs to be raised and how our hard work is going. I'm sure they'll have one up but if they don't I would hope they'll reconsider.

I'm not so sure about that. I think they may keep it simple and update less frequently and possibly use the fancy flash animations at opportune times.
Don't want people burning out on the idea.

I think it would be great to have rollovers of every state. We all have seen what happens when we have a goal to compete against. Imagine what we would do if you put us up against each other.

Indeed, like the Meetup competition. I still wonder how much we raised in that. It needs to be more localized, though. A program similar to Bush's Pioneer/Ranger program, except without the juicy ambassador jobs handed out to the top Rangers.

It is at 55,000 going by the old meter. A ton a work still needs to be done. So far today only 5,000 has been donated.
